Skills & Knowledge
This Nationally Recognised CPR course will provide participants with the skills and knowledge to effectively rescue a person from a live LV panel and provide CPR to a patient who has stopped breathing. Suitable for electrical workers who work as safety observers.
Entry Requirements
There are no pre-requisites for this course; however students must have sufficient English language and visual interpretation skills to successfully complete the training. Participants will also be required to undertake practical training and assessments at floor level. This includes demonstrating CPR on a manikin for a period of two minutes. If you have poor mobility or a current injury please discuss this with us prior to booking. Participants under the age of 18 are required to provide a consent form completed by their legal guardian.
Requirements for Completion
Participants must attend 100% of this LVR/CPR training and complete all assessments to a satisfactory level. Multiple choice questions, short written answers and practical activities are used for the assessment of this course.
Certification and Course Validity
Following the successful completion of training and assessment activities, participants are issued a Nationally Accredited Statement of Attainment in Perform Rescue from a Live LV Panel UETTDRRF06B & Provide CPR HLTAID001
Certification is valid for one (1) year from date of issue. Training should be undertaken annually as per Australian Resuscitation Council recommendations, Electrical Safety Regulation and the workplace first aid code of practice. Our comprehensive student management system will remind you a month before your certificate is due to be refreshed.
